Biography of Julianna Hynes, Ph.D.

Julianna is a gifted leadership development consultant, coach and facilitator as well as a talented author and speaker. With more than ten years of education and experience in human resources, training and coaching, she honed those talents to become the Founder and CEO of Julianna Hynes & Associates (JHA)—a leadership development firm specializing in and assisting emerging women leaders and the organizations that employ them in identifying, bridging, and achieving career and organizational goals. In addition to her entrepreneurial activities, Julianna serves as an Online Faculty Member for the University of Phoenix teaching various topics in Psychology.

Signature topics such as: “Living on Purpose!, Working on Purpose!, Strategies for Success, and Balancing Your Life in These Hectic Times” have made Julianna one of the most sought-after  speakers.

Most recently, Julianna published the highly anticipated and best selling book, Living on Purpose! Keys to Discovering Your God Given Destiny.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Julianna volunteers her time and services to a number of non-profit organizations that focus on the needs of women and at risk young women in the Bay Area.  She is also a servant leader at her church, Grace Bible Fellowship, under the leadership of Pastor Kirkland A. Smith and lends her gifts to teaching Sunday School and being a leader in the church’s mentoring program for young women (ages 12-18).

Julianna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Organizational Consulting and a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology in which she studied the career development and success strategies of professional, high-status African American women.
